We are looking for a Junior Geospatial Analyst to assist in producing accurate CAD drawings and geospatial deliverables derived from survey and point-cloud data, in accordance with client specifications, company standards, and quality assurance procedures. You will support senior team members through reliable data handling, clear communication, and a proactive approach to learning geospatial and CAD workflows. Learn and complete basic to technical Geospatial Data analysis with guidance from Senior members of the team. No experience necessary as all training provided however a willingness to learn is essential.
Duties
Create CAD drawing to industry standards.
Ensure all CAD checks have been completed in accordance with company quality assurance standards.
Be adaptable and able to change priorities to meet dynamic deadlines.
Be willing to learn and adapt to new workflows and software.
Report equipment & software faults promptly to appropriate manager.
Keep regular work progress communication and ensure full understanding of work requirements, seeking support when needed.
Meet agreed deadlines for completion of assigned work, escalating issues and potential timeline delays.
Participate in training within the office when required ensuring task book is kept up to dated.
Take responsibility for own development activities and strive to improve CAD standards.
Skills
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data handling.
Clear communication skills and the ability to present findings effectively.
Collaborative and comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams.
Experience using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD or equivalent)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow standards, templates and instructions
Willingness to learn technical surveying, geospatial and CAD workflows
Clear communication and ability to work as part of a team
