We are looking for a Junior Geospatial Analyst to join our team at Severn Partnership and begin a career in geospatial and CAD analysis. This is an entry-level role, ideal for a school or college leaver with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

You will support the production of accurate CAD drawings and geospatial deliverables using survey and point-cloud data, working to client specifications, company standards, and quality procedures.

You’ll receive hands-on training and ongoing support from experienced team members as you develop your skills in geospatial data processing and CAD workflows. No previous experience is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creating CAD drawings to industry standards
Checking work in line with company quality assurance procedures
Learning and using geospatial, surveying and CAD software
Managing tasks to meet agreed deadlines, with support when needed
Communicating progress and asking questions to ensure work is completed accurately
Reporting any equipment or software issues to the appropriate manager
Taking part in office-based training and keeping training records up to date
Taking responsibility for your own development and continuously improving your skills

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

A strong attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to learn new software and technical workflows
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Comfortable using computers and handling data
Ability to follow instructions, standards and templates
Maths & English GCSEs (or equivalent)
