Quality Engineer
Location: Reading

Working Pattern: 8:30am – 5:00pm (30-minute break)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support a nuclear project in Reading on a short-term basis. The role will cover the full project lifecycle, from initial kick-off through to final completion, ensuring all quality assurance requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
Review and approve procedures and documentation in line with QC1 requirements
Carry out quality control inspections in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
Ongoing review and final acceptance of Lifetime Records (LTRs)
Conduct final release inspections
Witness testing activities as required
Attend and contribute to relevant project and quality meetings
Requirements
Previous experience working in a nuclear or highly regulated environment
Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes
SC Security Clearance is required
