Summary
HMP Portland have an exciting opportunity for a Carpentry Lecturer to join the prison-based Education Team.
This role is one day a week.
We are seeking a creative and inspiring Lecturer who can deliver engaging classes to learners who are based within the prison. As a Carpentry Lecturer, you will be supporting learners to achieve success and guiding them through the courses. You will not only help them to achieve qualifications, but also confidence and skills they can apply to employment upon release, or to other areas within education. If you are unqualified in teaching but have a high level of enthusiasm and the appropriate trade qualifications, then teacher training will be provided.
