Summary
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated individual to take on the role of Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and wants to develop their skills and knowledge within a high-quality early years setting while gaining a nationally recognised qualification. You will be working towards your Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, the length of the apprenticeship is expected to be around 18 months.
You will work alongside experienced practitioners to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities
Support the learning, play and development of children aged 2 - 4 years
Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities
Observe, record and contribute to children’s progress
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Support children’s personal care routines as required
Work in partnership with parents, carers and colleagues
Follow all safeguarding, health & safety and setting policies
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has a genuine interest in working with young children
Is kind, reliable and enthusiastic
Enjoys working as part of a team
Has good communication skills
Is willing to learn and complete all apprenticeship requirements
Demonstrates professionalism and confidentiality at all times
No previous childcare qualification or experience is required — just a commitment to learning and supporting children.
