Role Overview:
We are looking for caring and dedicated Nursery Practitioners to join our growing team. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring children are safe, happy, and developing in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality care and education in a safe, stimulating environment.
• Plan, prepare and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development.
• Observe, track and record children’s progress using the EYFS framework.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming room environment.
• Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and nursery events.
Requirements:
• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Paediatric First Aid (desirable).
