Inbound Container Administrator
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000
Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Turners (Soham) Ltd is the largest privately owned haulage and storage operator in the UK. We’re looking for an organised and proactive Inbound Container Administrator to join our team within the Temperature Controlled Warehousing Division. Our BRC-accredited coldstores operate 24/7, providing a full range of services to clients who supply food products to the retail, foodservice, and wholesale sectors across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in managing daily inbound container bookings, ensuring everything runs smoothly between our customers, suppliers, and internal operations. What You’ll Be Doing:
Effectively liaise with container customers to coordinate bookings and ensure their needs are met.
Manage and document daily inbound container bookings, ensuring smooth and accurate planning.
Collaborate with the container division to plan and organise container collections from port.
Maintain clear communication with customers and suppliers to ensure key objectives are met and operational efficiency is maintained.
Keep track of and update KPIs to ensure performance goals are on track.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience dealing with customers and suppliers (preferred, but not essential).
Self-motivated, able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive attitude, eager to learn and grow within a supportive team.
Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Excellent organisational and logistical thinking, with a keen eye for detail.
High accuracy in all aspects of work.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
