Summary
The Best Connection is looking to recruit a Surface Grinder for a well established Engineering company based in Norton Canes.
The role:
This is the first stage of the process of manufacturing process of the range of products produced on site, this will involve threading tools and using the surface grinding machines to produce properly sized and squared sections of steel blanks in line with company standards.
The successful candidate will run and manage the CNC Surface Grinding Machine, including Lumsden Grinders and manual grinders.
The Operator will be setting multiple jobs throughout the working day and you be responsible for checking their own work using micrometers, verniers and other measuring equipment.
You may also be required to use other hand and power tools.
Assisting colleagues with projects
General duties and cleaning of the workstation.
The Role:
Days - Monday to Friday
Hours - 07:00 to 15:15
Pay - £15.50 (D.O.E)
