Responsibilities of the Foundry Worker:
- Operating foundry machinery and equipment safely, including furnaces, moulding machines, and casting equipment
- Melting and pouring molten metal into moulds while following strict safety procedures
- Removing castings from moulds and performing fettling, grinding, or finishing work
- Following company procedures, quality standards, and risk assessments
Requirements of the Foundry Worker:
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
- Good numeracy skills
- Experience preparing moulds and cores to required quality standards
- Knowledge of moulding processes, materials, and techniques
