The opportunity

The Library, Careers & Enterprise team at the University of Salford is seeking to recruit an Operations Coordinator who will work across the department to help us to be as effective and efficient as possible so that we can deliver an exceptional service that makes a real difference for our students, graduates, colleagues, and external communities.

Do you have strong numeracy and data skills, with proven experience of collecting, analysing and presenting data? Are you proactive and always looking to improve things, solve problems and streamline processes? Are you also great at communicating, working with and getting the best out of people? Then this role could be for you.

Responsibilities and skills

The Operations Coordinator supports the Director and the leadership team by coordinating a range of essential operational and strategic activities including strategic planning, business continuity and risk management, and HR processes. The focus is particularly on service evaluation and reporting, and on identifying and implementing process improvements. They work with colleagues across the department to support delivery of a variety of cross-departmental and institutional processes, initiatives and projects and contributing to a highly effective, efficient, and collegial service.
