Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced MIG Welder to become an integral part of our team. In this position you will play a key role in the production and assembly of premium metal components tailored for conservatory orders, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. The successful candidate will bring exceptional attention to detail, a proactive and dedicated work ethic, and a true passion for delivering precision welding that exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials including stainless steel and mild steel.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing paperwork to complete jobs to specification.
- Inspect and test welds for quality, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in a safe working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the welding process.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.

Key Competencies:
- Proven experience as a MIG welder in a manufacturing or construction setting. Minimum of 1 years experience required.
- Strong ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and manufacturing paperwork.
- Proficient in the use of welding tools and equipment.
- Ability to work with various materials and thicknesses.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a workshop environment.
- Certification in welding.

Monday - Friday - 7:00am - 3:30pm
