Summary
Line Setter
Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: £27,000 per annum
As a Line Setter, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of packaging lines and ensuring machinery and equipment are maintained and routinely checked, and that all packed products meet required quality and specification standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support packaging lines to achieve daily production schedules
Deputise for the Shift Team Leader when required
Assist with team training and development
Carry out basic machine maintenance and fault finding
Ensure all products meet quality and specification standards
Maintain accurate, traceable records and complete daily paperwork
Promote high standards of hygiene, safety, and housekeeping
Support improvements in line efficiency and reduction of rework
Encourage near-miss reporting and accident prevention initiatives
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Experience with basic machine maintenance and fault finding
Food-related hygiene training
Computer literate
SAP or MRP system knowledge (desirable)
ILM Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards it
