Summary
Hours of Work:
Sunday to Wednesday: 05:00 – 13:00
Thursday: 05:00 – 12:30
Main Purpose of the Role
To carry out mechanical sweeping operations to support city-wide environmental cleanliness across Exeter.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Drive and operate a mechanical sweeper in line with training and safety guidance
Remove litter and debris from public highways and areas
Empty litter bins and dispose of waste appropriately
Undertake basic equipment checks and report faults
Report issues affecting the appearance or safety of the public realm
Maintain accurate records and timesheets
Comply with all client's policies and health & safety procedures
Requirements
Full, clean, manual UK Category B driving licence
Confidence operating vehicles and equipment
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
