Have 24-hour responsibility for managing staff and to ensure that the standards and quality of care together with the environment, in which care is delivered, are maintained at a high standard. Be an effective leader and role model and will have a particular responsibility to ensure that patients and users are involved in their care, are able to feedback and see improvements made as a result. To provide regular direct clinical care using the experience to support the implementation of both clinical and non-clinical governance and to modernise patient services.
