These flexible opportunities are ideal for Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary and secondary school settings. You’ll be supporting pupils in Plympton and the surrounding areas, helping them access learning and thrive in an inclusive environment.Duties as Teaching Assistant:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities
• Help implement behaviour strategies and support classroom management
• Support pupils with personal care needs where required
• Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment
• Monitor and record pupil progress and communicate effectively with staff

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience supporting pupils in a school setting
• Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with a range of needs
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development
