Crynodeb
Estimating – Preparing quotations on the estimating package, printed bills of quantities or on Excel. Research and source materials from suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions / products, liaising with production on special furniture, designing and or interpreting furniture layouts. Sending out enquiries for pricing for bought in items including extracting and collating the information from the tender documents. Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals. Track project costs and provide regular updates to management.
This will be an active role committed to the smooth day to day running of the estimation process.
It will also be part of this role to maintain an environment of continuous improvement and working practices.
Email Quotations – Preparing quotations by email, usually only for a few items and low value.
Revisions – Revising existing quotations in line with the latest information on either DBFS system or Bill of Quants.
General Telephone / Email Enquiries / Tawk.to – Sales, Estimating, Technical, Aftersales (Customer services).
Emails – Check and respond to emails daily including quotations and print off new enquiries.
Answering Incoming Telephone calls – Picking up incoming calls or taking calls from clients regarding projects.
Order Processing – Processing orders and on occasion, conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
