DVSA: Keeping Britain moving, safely and sustainably
The Audit Programme Manager will work within the National Standards and Accreditation team. The role holder will drive the quality assurance strategy, taking responsibility for planning and delivering an effective, risk based, strategic quality assurance programme of centre and course visits, maintaining agreed targets and ensuring non-compliance is identified and managed
effectively.
Stakeholder engagement is a primary function of this role; they will ensure consistency in standards and quality across all Quality Assurance reports, through regular evaluation of Audit supplier’s performance, taking action where required, to ensure all standards are met and maintained.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
Work with the Senior National Standards and Training Accreditation Manager and the Investigations and Compliance Manager to review and refine the risk rating system to ensure all quality assurance visits are allocated effectively based on risk.Work with the Senior National Standards and Training Accreditation Manager and the Investigations and Compliance Manager to ensure KPIs and targets are met.Effectively line manage two members of staff in line with DVSA policies and processes, leading and acting as a role model for teammembers and colleagues in line with Civil Service values. Ensure good relationships and communications with all members of the team and internal and external customers.Communicate with all major stakeholders (internal and external) to achieve business objectives.
