Summary
Are you an experienced and qualified Senior Residential Support Worker who is currently or has recently been working in Children's Residential Homes? High5 Recruitment require three Senior RSWs for a brand-new therapeutic service in Shropshire. We are looking for competent shift leaders who can mentor Residential Childcare Practitioners and provide a warm, consistent, and safe environment for our young people.
Our ideal Support Workers will demonstrate a stable work history. We are looking for professionals who are committed to the long-term development of young people who possess the emotional intelligence to lead by example.
As we are looking for Senior Support Workers you must already hold your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and have at least 18 months experience in a Children's Residential setting, with some experience of leading shifts.
You should have sound knowledge of Safeguarding procedures and a Full UK Driving Licence.
You will need to have a genuine passion for supporting young people who have experienced trauma. We are looking for a calm, predictable presence that helps young people feel safe, and we need Leaders with a "will-do-it" attitude rather than waiting for prompts.
