As a Casual Receptionist in our Bangor team, you will join our busy Front of House team. This is a key frontline role, responsible for delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our leisure facility.
The role combines customer service, sales, administration, and event support, including birthday parties and special events. You will play an important part in achieving membership, retention, and sales targets while ensuring every customer has a positive experience.


What you’ll do as a Casual Receptionist
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times, both face-to-face and remotely
- Deal with customer enquiries via reception desk, telephone, and email
- Take bookings and process payments using a computerised booking and POS system
- Handle cash accurately and reconcile monies
- Respond to customer compliments and complaints professionally
- Meet monthly membership, retention, and sales targets
- Maintain availability of customer information and promotional materials
- Organise and maintain Front of House areas to a high standard of cleanliness
- Organise birthday party packages, special events, and one-off bookings
- Coordinate staff rotas for events and monitor standards during parties and events
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure events run smoothly
- Support general administrative tasks including invoicing and purchase orders
- Manage retail stock displays and identify best-selling items

- Previous experience in a busy Front of House or customer-facing environment
- Proven cash-handling experience
- Experience using computerised booking and POS systems
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
