Summary

About the Position


We are looking for a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at Cwrt Mytton Residential Care Service. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and assist with food preparation to support their daily needs. Your work will contribute to the comfort and well-being of individuals living in our care home.


Key Responsibilities

Carry out cleaning duties throughout the home to maintain high hygiene standards.
Assist the cook with food preparation and light meal cooking as required.
Follow health and safety procedures and participate in risk assessments.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Council policies and safeguarding principles.
Attend training, supervision, and team meetings to support your professional development.
Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the Registered Manager.

Essential Requirements


Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and split shifts.
Respect for residents’ dignity, independence, and confidentiality.
Commitment to equality and anti-discriminatory practice.

Desirable


Previous experience in catering or domestic work.
Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and health & safety procedures.
