A supportive and inclusive Primary School in West London is seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs. This role is focused on consistency, relationship-building and helping the pupil access learning successfully throughout the school day.
The school has strong SEND systems in place and a collaborative staff team who work closely to support both pupils and support staff.
Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs
Supporting learning, engagement and emotional regulation
Helping the pupil access the curriculum in class
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Promoting independence, confidence and positive behaviour
Maintaining a calm, patient and consistent approach
Experienced Learning Support Assistants
SEND Teaching Assistants with 1:1 experience
Graduates considering careers in education, psychology or SEND
Individuals with a nurturing and resilient approach
Experience supporting pupils with additional needs
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to follow guidance and adapt support strategies
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
