We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee facility maintenance and utility plant operations.​

This is a site-based role with the potential to gain experience across multiple sites.

Job Description

This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure that all maintenance activities meet quality standards and comply with operational procedures.​

You will be responsible for managing a small team of approximately 10 engineers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and effective task allocation.​

The ideal candidate will have a hands-on background in PPMs and reactive maintenance, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise facility maintenance and utility plant operations, ensuring compliance with building operation rules.

Review and evaluate staff performance, taking corrective action where necessary.

Assign tasks for work tickets and preventative maintenance work orders for the O&M team.

Ensure timely completion of PMs and work orders each month.

Maintain and update O&M documentation, including drawings, manuals, and SOPs/MOPs/EOPs.

Manage inventory and storage of spare parts, tools, and equipment, disposing of unusable items appropriately.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure safe and effective project execution.

Provide data for reports, equipment evaluations, and assist with subcontractor/vendor quotes.

Direct operational modifications such as lockout/tagout and safe working area setups.

Ensure compliance with company, client, and HSEQ policies and procedures.

Be available for emergency corrective maintenance and 24/7 call-outs.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

UK Driving Licence required (ISS vans provided).

Hands-on experience with PPMs and reactive maintenance.

Strong communication and people skills.

Willingness to learn and train in new areas.

Ideally fully electrically qualified.
