We are looking for aRegistered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) / Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to join our dynamic and forward thinking team atCygnet Hospital Stevenage. You will be expected to work full-time, working 38.5 hours a week, working days and nights on a rota basis. Cygnet Hospital Stevenage offers a range of secure and PICU and acute mental health services for men and women in a purpose-built therapeutic environment where the focus is on maximising positive outcomes and recovery. A range of therapies supports the care pathway towards independent living. Your Day-to-Day.. Develop therapeutic relationships alongside service users and carers to motivate and influence service users drive for recovery Collaborate with others to ensure the delivery of safe and clinically effective care Apply skilled and meaningful interventions based on assessed needs Maintain contemporaneous records and care plans for service users Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals. Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines. You are Open, compassionate, honest & resilient Experienced RMN/RNLD with a current Pin Number Capable to maintain documentation and undertake audits Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have an understanding of latest nursing practices Able to deputise in a clinical lead role Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk Helping to empower & support service user independence.
