Summary

Regional Workshop Manager
Location: home-based with site visits South East of England
Salary: up to £58,000 basic per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Regional Workshop Manager Role:
• Shape and implement regional strategies for fleet maintenance, ensuring they align with the organisation’s broader goals.
• Lead, coach, and inspire workshop teams to deliver exceptional performance, foster engagement, and support ongoing skill development.
• Maintain rigorous compliance and safety standards, including designing and monitoring Health & Safety initiatives across workshops.
• Carry out regional audits, track key performance indicators, and prepare detailed reports on VOR, MOT investigations, and operational results.
• Optimise financial performance by managing budgets effectively, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and contributing to commercial growth.

Regional Workshop Manager Requirements:
• Fully qualified HGV Motor Vehicle Technician with strong technical expertise.
• Demonstrated success in managing fleet workshops and overseeing large-scale maintenance operations.
• Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety practices within workshop environments.
• Strategic mindset combined with a practical, hands-on approach and resilience in a fast-moving setting.
• Competent user of Microsoft applications.

Desirable: Goods Management CPC, HGV licence, IOSH or H&S qualifications, experience in Environmental Services, or exposure to digital maintenance systems.
