Join a team that makes a real difference.
At Pivot we believe children deserve better. In our academies we teach and support children and young people from Key Stages 2 – 5 who have been excluded from school, for whom mainstream education is simply not working, or those with an EHCP who require a specialist placement. Every day our teams do incredible work, making a huge difference to some complex and challenging children, many of whom come to us with traumatic backgrounds.
We are currently seeking a conscientious and enthusiastic Administrator to join our fantastic Leeds Academy.
As the Administrator, you will work closely with our Business Manager to support the smooth running of the school. Your responsibilities will span a range of operational areas, including facilities management, exam coordination, and health and safety compliance.
This is not a typical desk based administrative role. You will be a friendly and professional first point of contact for visitors and contractors, a confident communicator, and someone who can remain organised and calm when prioritising a varied workload.
Our ideal candidate will have strong IT skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and the confidence to use their initiative. The role also involves liaising with our external IT support company to help resolve technical issues, support staff with basic troubleshooting, and ensure smooth day to day operation of our systems.
As a forward thinking school, we are further developing our use of AI to enhance efficiency and support administrative and operational processes; therefore, confidence in learning and using new technologies—including AI powered tools—is an advantage. Training will be provided, but a proactive approach and willingness to explore digital solutions is essential.
Experience within an educational setting, or knowledge of facilities management or health and safety, would be beneficial but is not essential. Above all, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a hands on approach.
Working at Pivot will give you a real chance to change the lives of our learners and we truly believe you will find working here a rewarding experience. As a growing organisation, we also offer great development and CPD opportunities.
Don’t miss this opportunity! You’ll find the full job description and how to apply on our website www.pivot-group.uk/current-vacancies. Complete an application form there and return it to the HR team at recruitment@pivot-group.co.uk.
Closing Date: 10am, 05 February 2026
Interview Date: 12 February 2026
We do encourage you to submit your application form as soon as possible, as we reserve the right to change the closing date for a vacancy and interview before the advertised closing date.
We are committed to safeguarding our young people and promoting the welfare of children and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure Barring Service check and appropriate referencing.
During the shortlisting process, Pivot will carry out an online search on shortlisted candidates as part of its due diligence.
