Our client, a leading automotive accident repair centre in Swindon, is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work within a reputable organisation collaborating with industry-leading manufacturers. The Panel Beater role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience and qualifications, and provides benefits designed to support your professional growth and work-life balance.

- Starting salary up to £48,000 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications (Upper salary bracket exclusive to those with quals/accreditations)

Duties:
- Replace and repair damaged or compromised vehicle body panels to high-quality standards
- Conduct chassis and framework repairs with precision
- Accurately assess vehicle damage to determine appropriate repair methods
- Perform bumper and door repairs as required, ensuring durability and finish
- Guarantee all repair work meets both internal standards and third-party accreditation requirements
- Assist with minor Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim (MET) work where necessary
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth operational workflow and safety compliance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater, with recent or current employment in a similar role
- Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are desirable but not essential; substantial on-the-job experience (minimum three years) considered
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Additional skills in vehicle paint spraying or ATA accreditation would be advantageous but are not mandatory
