Summary

Are you a contractor (outside IR35) Architectural Technologist looking to continue you your career at a reputable architectural practice in Manchester?

Do you have strong technical design skills and confidence producing coordinated construction information?

The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join a forward-thinking architectural practice delivering complex projects across multiple sectors, from concept through to construction, using BIM-led processes.

We would also welcome applications from these industries Construction, engineering consultancy, design and build, property development, and multidisciplinary design practices.

This role would suit candidates working in these roles Architectural Technician, BIM Technologist, Technical Architect, Revit Technician, Design Technologist, Construction Technologist, Project Technologist, Building Technologist, Architectural Assistant (Technical), Technical Designer.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

- Producing accurate and detailed technical drawings, models and specifications across project stages.

- Coordinating design information with internal teams, consultants and external stakeholders.

- Ensuring designs comply with current UK building regulations and technical standards.

- Supporting the delivery of projects through technical problem-solving and design development.

- Contributing to quality control and maintaining consistency of technical output.

You will have the following qualifications and experience

- A relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a closely related discipline.

- Proven experience working in a UK architectural or design practice environment.

- Strong proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit, and technical detailing.

- Sound knowledge of UK building regulations, construction methods and procurement routes.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within project teams.
