Do you have experience of supporting people with vascular dementia? Are you reliable, patient, kind and friendly? If so, we would love to hear from you.
This elderly lady lives in a care home and would benefit from some enabling time to access time out and about in the community. Once fiercely independent, it can be a bit frustrating for this lady to not be able to do what she once was able to.
With a love of being outdoors, going for walks on the beach and accessing aqua-fit classes wherever possible, this role is sure to be beneficial to both parties. This lady can recount some good stories from her younger years, is good company, polite and well liked in her residential setting by staff and fellow residents alike.
If you can be a relatable friend and someone to talk to with the resilience to maintain boundaries (as she can be a bit teenage like!) you are who we are looking for!
