Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will:

• Support the Headteacher in leading school improvement and managing change
• Promote high expectations for learning, behaviour, and wellbeing
• Play a key role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils
• Inspire and support staff through positive and effective leadership
• Maintain a strong, visible presence across the school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with leadership experience
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection
• Have the vision and resilience to support an improving school
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external agencies
• Share our values of care, teamwork, and inclusion
• Have a good understanding of the current issues around the complexity of SEND and specifically SEMH need.
