The Role – Registered Nursing Home Manager (Portsmouth)

As Registered Nursing Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the operational, clinical, and regulatory performance of the nursing home. You will lead nursing and care teams, maintain excellent CQC compliance, and ensure the delivery of outstanding nursing care.

This is a senior leadership role suited to an experienced Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager based near Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities

Full operational and clinical management of the nursing home
Acting as CQC Registered Manager
Maintaining and enhancing CQC compliance, governance, and quality standards
Leading, motivating, and developing nursing, care, and support staff
Ensuring delivery of high-quality, person-centred nursing care
Overseeing clinical audits, risk management, and quality assurance
Managing staffing, recruitment, retention, and performance

Essential Requirements

Nurse qualified – RGN, RMN, or RNLD (essential)
Experience as a Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager, or Deputy Manager
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance, and safeguarding
Proven leadership and people-management skills
Passion for delivering high-quality nursing and elderly care
Right to work in the UK
