Dishwash Assistant - Gatwick Airport

Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Long-term (Temp to Perm)

Job Overview

The Best Connection is recruiting Dishwash Assistant on behalf of a leading airline catering provider withing the logistics distribution and supply chain industry operating near London Gatwick Airport. This role supports the cleaning and handling of in-flight catering equipment and meals served to passengers worldwide.

This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent following successful completion of airport security clearance.

Pay & Shift Details

  • £12.50 per hour

  • Overtime: £18.75 per hour

  • Bank Holidays: £25.00 per hour

Shift Patterns (flexibility required):

  • Early Shift: 06:00 - 15:00

  • Late Shift: 14:30 - 23:00

Rotas:

  • 5 days on / 3 days off or 4 days on / 2 days off

  • Weekends included

Key Responsibilities

  • Washing, sorting, assembling, packing, and positioning aircraft equipment

  • Processing and stripping trolleys, including waste handling

  • Supporting food preparation activities when required

  • Packing food liners according to specifications

  • Conducting temperature, quality, and date checks

  • Stock handling, rotation, and daily stock counts

  • Receiving and storing incoming goods

  • Maintaining cleanliness of work areas

Candidate Requirements

  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

  • Able to lift and move catering equipment when required

  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude

  • Willingness to learn;
