What You'll Do: As a General Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences. Your day-to-day duties will be varied and involve working in three key areas:
• Catering – Assist with meal preparations and service
• Housekeeping – Ensure the Hall is welcoming and well-maintained
• Evening Duties – Support with evening activities and events

Patterdale Hall is a Residential Adventure Learning Centre, based in Glenridding on the shores of Lake Ullswater, which provides a variety of land and water-based activities for school children and commercial clients. The Hall is part of Bolton School in Lancashire.
The salary is between the National Living Wage, currently £23,492 per annum, rising to £24,454 per annum from April 2026 and point 03 on the Bolton School Support Staff Salary Scale, which is currently £24,703 per annum (pay award pending for September 2026). The salary is dependent on skills and experience. The salary will be dependent on skills and experience. An attractive benefits package is available.
