Summary
We are recruiting for a Breakfast Club Supervisor to be responsible for our successful Early Birds Breakfast Club.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a safe, welcoming, and well‑organised environment for pupils before the start of the school day ensuring that our high standards of care, behaviour, and safeguarding are consistently maintained while supporting children’s social, emotional, and nutritional needs.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operation of the Breakfast Club in line with school policies and safeguarding requirementsManage staffing rotas to ensure safe adult:pupil rations are maintained
Prepare activities in advance and ensure resources are available
Oversee pupil bookings and respond to parent enquiries/booking requestsWelcome pupils, ensure accurate registration, and monitor attendanceAssist Breakfast Club playworkes with preparing and serving a healthy breakfast in accordance with food hygiene standardsSupervise pupils during breakfast and provide structured activities, encouraging positive behaviour and respectful interactionsProvide appropriate support to pupils, including those with additional needsMaintain a calm, inclusive atmosphere that supports children’s wellbeingEnsure the club environment is clean, safe, and appropriately set up and cleared awayReport any concerns regarding pupil welfare to the designated safeguarding leadBe responsible for food ordering
