Summary


Do you enjoy working in a busy and varied environment? We are looking for enthusiastic individual to join our Reception function on a bank contract at our Make Ready Centre in Bredgar Road Gillingham.

This purpose built building is home to 111 call taker colleagues, Emergency Operations Centre (999) colleagues and our Medway Operational Unit. This is the first Ambulance Centre in the Country to bring all of these three exciting functions together under one roof.

If you have excellent customer service and reception skills, and enjoy meeting people, then you will enjoy the challenge of working as part of this busy team.

Reception is open Monday to Friday 08.00 am to 17.00 pm . Please note this is a bank contract, meaning you will be asked to work as and when required.

As the first point of contact to the main entrance to the building, you will greet colleagues and visitors ensuring they are signposted appropriately and security/health & safety requirements are met. You will deal with postal deliveries and couriers, and monitor the entry gates to the building, identifying all internal and external callers. You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as working within a large team, to manage tasks to ensure the front reception area runs smoothly.
