Summary
Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics 1. To undertake developmental assessments of preschool children as required and prepare reports. 2. To carry out other medical and neurodevelopmental assessments on primary and secondary school children where appropriate, including initial medicals for ADHD and ASD prior to referring to the ADHD and ASD Teams. To acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to conduct assessments for ASD and ADHD, as well as to manage ADHD and melatonin medication effectively. 3. To contribute to the reviews of children with complex needs, including transition arrangements, and to assist in the early identification of needs with liaison with appropriate agencies. 4.To participate in multidisciplinary and multiagency discussion and planning meetings. To participate in the multidisciplinary team and carry out multidisciplinary assessments as indicated.
