Your new Opportunity
As Depute Service Co-ordinator, you’ll be the right-hand person to our Service Co-ordinator, helping to run three amazing services that make a real impact:
✅ Family support for children and young people with disabilities
✅ Parent Carer support
✅ School-based Emotional Health and Wellbeing Service
This is your chance to lead, inspire, and make a positive difference in your community.
This is a full-time permanent post, working 37 hours per week. Please note we have offices in Dumfries & Stranraer. This role can be worked from either base, with travel to or from each office required.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting and motivating a brilliant team of staff and volunteers
Helping to plan and deliver services that change lives
Building great relationships with families, schools, and local partners
Making sure everything runs smoothly and meets high standards
Getting involved in creative projects and new ideas
Available to work evening and weekends as required (because life doesn’t stop at 5pm!)
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children, young people, and families
Leadership skills – you know how to support and inspire a team
A good understanding of children and young people with disabilities, wellbeing, and safeguarding
Organised, positive, and great at problem-solving
Comfortable with IT and reporting (don’t worry, we’ll support you!)
Qualifications:
A relevant qualification at SCQF Level 7 or above (or willing to work towards it)
Registration with SSSC or another professional body (or eligible to register)
