Summary


Practice autonomously and be responsible and accountable for safe, compassionate, person-centred care.
• Ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered in an effective and efficient manner, reflecting the values and ethos of The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
• Be responsible for assessing care needs of patients. Planning, implementation and the evaluation of these programmes without direct supervision.



Ward 1 is an 24 bedded inpatient unit providing spinal orthopaedic services to adult patients. As a specialist Foundation Trust, we are in an enviable position to focus our attention on high quality care and innovation. Ward 1 is often at the forefront of these innovations and as Staff Nurse you will be involved in delivering pioneering and life-changing care. . As a nursing team, we have made vast improvements to develop our nursing processes to ensure that we provide the best in nursing care to our patients. We pride ourselves in ensuring that we consistently challenge ourselves to provide the best care to our patients to ensure they can recover from their operation and return home with an improved quality of life.
