Summary

You will be part of an inspiring Libraries Team, contributing to the delivery of an innovative library service. You will assist in the delivery of a comprehensive range of services, that are shaped by communities, responsive to change and open to all, promoting our vision of a library service that enriches lives.

You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to develop positive working relationships and be able to deal with varied situations in a pragmatic and supportive manner. You will have the energy and enthusiasm to deliver the range of services we provide.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with queries, providing varied digital support, operating library management systems, processing and shelving library stock and providing and taking part in a full range of activities for adults and children to help encourage library use and promote reading.

If so, we are looking to recruit a Libraries Specialist Customer Services Representative to fill a position at Malpas Library.

This is a 11.5 hour temporary six month position. The hours and pattern of hours are subject to change pending a review.
