Summary

A Vacancy at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.


This new post will help to meet an increased demand for Paediatric Gastroenterology services across the Trust and allow the continued development of specialist services including intestinal failure, home parenteral nutrition, and Inflammatory bowel disease.

This post is ideal for an ST8-level trainee looking for their first consultant post or experienced General Paediatricians who wish to develop an interest in Paediatric Gastroenterology.

Applicants should be on or eligible to be on the specialist register for general paediatrics and be in receipt of a CCT in general paediatrics. A SPIN or equivalent experience in Paediatric Gastroenterology is a desirable criteria. The successful candidate will be supported to develop an interest in Paediatric Gastroenterology including attendance at relevant MDTs and specialist clinics where appropriate.

The Post is a full-time 10PA post that is primarily outpatient based with no on call/hot week requirements., Consideration will be given to flexible working options for those interested in a part-time role or wish to work on a sessional basis. The contract is for 6 months in the first instance extendable up to 12 months.
