Summary

We have a great opportunity for an Estates Officer to join our Team at SNG on a Permanent Basis

Based from our office in Wembley, London, you'll combine a mix of home and office working to ensure a positive work/life balance.

The Role

The role will oversee estate servicing and maintenance contracts, ensuring the customers are placed at the heart of our services. Work alongside the Contracts Manager – Estate Services to maintain effective day-to-day contractor management through both direct case work and a data led approach.

You will ensure a collaborative culture is followed by the team and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Measure and monitor customer satisfaction levels.

Ensure that the estate's common areas are monitored to meet agreed standards
Attend regular meetings with contractors, working collaboratively to improve service standards
Monitor estate services and grounds maintenance contracts in line with specifications. Participate in contractor selection panels and assist in setting contract specifications
Responsibility for ensuring health and safety inspections and checks are carried out on estates and in the communal areas, including communal risk assessments and regular reviews
Liaise with colleagues on estate service maintenance, ensuring repairs orders are raised, checked, authorised and followed up as required
Attend meetings with Resident Association as necessary, identifying ways to improve resident services. Act as a single point of contact for residents, providing information and monitoring customer satisfaction
Conduct joint estate inspections with the Locality Officers where required, ensuring that actions are implemented and meet the highest standards
Support the Contracts Manager - Estate Services with the delivery of designated servicing programmes, ensuring compliance requirements are met by all contractors
Ensure that regular Landlord meter readings are taken and recorded

What we need from you

Experience of carrying out administrative tasks
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload
Good communications skills with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent customer focus and a genuine desire to achieve excellence in all areas of responsibility
Knowledge of using multiple IT systems and a basic knowledge of Excel
A full and clean driving license, the role will involve the individual attending SNG sites (for estate inspections etc/emergency visits where required)
