He requires care and support in his own home, in the local community and in the wider world.
Are you a competent driver who holds a full UK driving licence? (Essential!)
Do you like pets and wildlife?
Are you a non-smoker and non-vaper?
Can you laugh (probably when you shouldn't) and learn through adversity?
Are you a calm, patient and empathetic, friendly, confident and cheerful individual with a great sense of humour?
Do you have excellent communication skills and a good command of the English language?

Having a background in care/support is not essential - Our client feels that this role can be learnt and therefore any background will be considered. Some of the most successful assistants he has had (and currently has) are a serving police officer, a builder, a golf professional and a reptile expert.
You must be physically fit and in good health to carry out this role!
General key skills required:

- A calm, logical and methodical approach to tasks.
- A quick learner and a sense of adventure.
Hours are varied but no overnight care is required. This is NOT a live-in position.
Self-employed only. Invoices paid monthly by bank transfer.
Things to consider before applying:
- You will need to be registered self-employed or be prepared to do so.
- Care insurance will need to be taken out (usually less than £100 per annum).
- You will need a Full UK Driving Licence.
- You will need to send our client a monthly invoice by email.
- You will need common sense.
