Summary
We're looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Southern Framework team based in Falmer, East Sussex.
Location: Falmer, East Sussex
Hours: 40 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Procurement Manager, you'll be working within the Southern Water framework, supporting them with the sourcing, negotiation and governance of goods and subcontract procurement.
Your day to day will include:
-Ensure that procurement policies of both Kier Group, and Framework are adhered to
-Ensure Subcontractors and suppliers have the relevant Health and Safety Accreditation and Sustainability and Carbon reduction policies that align to Kiers standards
-Support Procurement / Commercial Lead in developing Framework procurement strategy
-Negotiate with Subcontractors and Suppliers to ensure that specific clauses in our client contracts are flowed down to ensure that contractual risks & KPI's are balanced and work with budgets / estimating outputs to assess selection criteria.
-Develop and own preferred suppliers & strategic partnerships to deliver best value for all parties, ensuring that these service providers can be relied on to deliver high quality, value for money services
What are we looking for?
This role of Procurement Manager is great for you if:
-Relevant degree level (or equivalent) with a lengthy proven experience within a similar role within the industry.
-Chartered CIPS membership or working towards chartership or appropriate professional qualification
-Senior level experience within the infrastructure/utilities sector including civil engineering and MEICA requirements.
-Knowledge of SAP SRM and Jaggaer systems
