Summary
At Illuminate Care Group, we don’t just offer jobs — we build strong, consistent adults around children who need them most.
If you’re someone who:
- Stays calm under pressure
- Can lead with boundaries and compassion
- Isn’t afraid of responsibility
- Wants to finish each shift knowing you made a real difference…then this could be the role you’ve been looking for.
What This Role Is Really About
You’ll be:
- Showing up consistently for children who’ve experienced trauma
- Being a steady, reliable presence — even on tough days
- Helping young people feel safe, regulated, and respected
- Working as part of a close, supportive team who’ve got your back
Our homes operate using Love-Led Care and trauma-responsive practice, supported by Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI). That means clear boundaries, emotional intelligence, and safe, lawful responses to behaviour — not restraint-led care.
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be perfect — but you do need resilience, integrity, and emotional maturity.
We’re looking for people who can:
- Build positive, professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Keep children safe at all times, in line with safeguarding legislation
- Hold boundaries with confidence and consistency
- Stay grounded during emotionally challenging situations
- Reflect, learn, and develop their practice
- Maintain accurate records and reports (basic IT skills required)
- A driving licence is desirable (but negotiable).
