About the Role
As an Employment Advisor, you will hold a caseload of customers seeking employment.Your role involves seeking potential employment opportunities for customers by working closely with theindividual, employers, prime contractors, and statutory bodies.From initial meetings, you will review applicants' abilities, needs, and wishes regarding employment andrespondaccordingly, linking customers to employment, training, and development opportunities.
You will provide advice on achieving employment to customers, their circle ofsupport, and other organisations, and signpost individuals to other sources of advice where appropriate.Identifying specific needs and risks, you will create and maintain risk assessments with theindividualto ensure safety in the workplace. Where required, you will train andsupportcustomers in getting to a placement and provide on-the-jobsupport.
Your responsibilities also include creating and maintaining records and processes in line with organisational and contract requirements, using both online databases and hard copy record systems.You will deliver job-related outcomes in line withindividualand team performance targets and provide guidance to EmploymentSupportWorkers in the delivery of their duties.
