The post holder will provide configuration and maintenance support for the University’s software applications, ensuring that platforms are configured, tested and maintained in accordance with University requirements, Digital Principles, policies, and standards. The role requires the post holder to develop a technical understanding of relevant platforms and applications based on prior knowledge of software development and related databases/data structures. The post holder needs to use a variety of provided tools to configure and maintain applications such as chatbots, mobile and web apps, make required changes, extract relevant reporting and statistics from available dashboard functions and provide project coordination by owning relationships with 3rd party system providers and key business stakeholders as necessary. They will provide support to internal teams, acting as a subject matter expert for any application queries and information.
Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.
