Summary

ROLE FOCUS: The purpose of this role is to contribute to the development of early intervention and prevention emotional wellbeing services in Bromley. The role will aim to improve outcomes for Children, Young People, Parents and Carers through various methods dedicated to service improvement. The Assistant Psychologist will help with collecting data, evaluating and summarising results and communicating learning and impact. They will contribute to writing of reports for service leads, trustees, commissioners as part of their main role of reporting on the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Bromley Y across the four quarters of the year leading up to the CEOs Annual Report. They will assist in the implementation of auditing and quality assurance and the design and delivery of innovative research projects. They will be expected to use IT and statistical programmes to collect, review and analyse feedback from service users and support Bromley Ys commitment to co-production. The post holder will collect data and analyse results for therapeutic interventions both one to one and group work to review their effectiveness. They will have a role collecting and analysing Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) data to assist improving access and outreach to all communities in the Borough. The post holder keeps up to date with evidence-based literature and research to assist teams in evidence-based practice. The role will be a balance of working digitally from home with some dedicated time at Ethelbert Road. The post holder must be prepared to be flexible in their working arrangements. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILLITIES: Conduct accurate and precise data entry and scoring. Communicate and liaise with different teams to collect and analyse data for regular service performance reporting and for projects. To work with the Strategy and Development service to support the Leadership Team and Business Support to complete data entry and prepare reports for Teams and the wider organisation. Complete all data entry as required within the service and to keep up to date and clear records in line with service policies and procedures. To contribute to gathering and analysis of data for the regular quarterly reporting against key performance indicators and to distribute essential documents, research and reports to staff and relevant stakeholders as agreed with manager. To undertake administrative duties associated as required for the service and in line with research projects, progress reports etc. To take a proactive approach to any other research activities that may arise. To contribute to the evaluation of all areas of service delivery in line with Bromley Ys Quality Assurance Framework, to ensure service user and professional satisfaction and the positive impact of interventions. To work alongside others to demonstrate and critically evaluate the implementation of the early intervention role to meet the mental health needs of children and young people. To have a focus on extending service reach to diverse communities and assist this work and thinking. To participate in team and service meetings as required. Manage own workload through line management. To support the Assessment and appropriate Pathways for Children and Young People, which may include direct work clients.
