Summary
To continuously develop specialist skills and maintain professional expertise in occupational therapy. To organise and prioritise daily workload efficiently, assigning tasks to OT Assistants and Support Workers when appropriate. To mentor and provide guidance to Occupational Therapy Students and less experienced team members. To deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions that promote independence, tailoring approaches to individual patient needs. To plan and carry out safe patient assessments in the hospital and community, including the correct use, adjustment, and upkeep of therapy equipment. To liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, and adherence to Trust policies and procedures.
