Job Details
• Job Title: Exams Invigilator
• Salary: £15 per hour (paid for duration of exam plus 30 minutes pre and post exam)
• Hours: Varies – part time / temporary
• Reporting to: Exams Officer

Main Purpose
To support the Exams Officer by supervising students during examinations, ensuring that all assessments are conducted in accordance with JCQ regulations and school procedures.
Exam Invigilators play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the examination process and supporting students to have the best possible experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Supervising students during exams to ensure all rules and regulations are followed.
• Distributing and collecting exam papers and materials.
• Setting up examination rooms prior to exams and ensuring proper conduct throughout.
• Providing assistance where needed while maintaining the integrity of the exam process.
• Reporting any irregularities or issues to the exam officer or senior staff.
Requirements for the role:
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain focused and alert.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a calm, professional manner.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one at your own expense).
Previous experience as an invigilator is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided.
