Summary
About the Role
Imet Alloys (Europe) LTD is looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Sorter / Process Operator to join our team in Livingston. This is a full-time, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work in an industrial environment and can work effectively as part of a team.
Imet Alloys is a global company and, as such, has plants situated around the world. On occasion there may be a requirement for you to travel to another site to assist with operations or for further training.
Key Responsibilities
• Sorting and processing materials in line with company procedures
• Loading And Unloading Lorries
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
• Mutilation of Material using Plasma cutter or Handheld Grinder
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Driving License preferred but not essential
• Forklift experience would be an advantage, but not essential, training would be considered
