GK Healthcare is a well-established healthcare recruitment consultancy supplying experienced care professionals across the UK. We are currently recruiting Female Domiciliary Care Workers (Drivers Only) for regular, ongoing community-based care shifts.
Role Overview
As a Domiciliary Carer, you will support individuals in their own homes, enabling them to live safely, independently, and with dignity. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care in line with CQC standards.
Key Details
Role: Domiciliary Care Worker
Requirement: Female drivers only (genuine occupational requirement)
Shifts: Regular 5–6 shifts per week
Work Type: Community-based home care
Responsibilities
Provide personal care including washing, dressing, continence care, and mobility support
Assist with medication in line with care plans and training
Support with meal preparation, hydration, and nutrition
Carry out light domestic duties to maintain a safe living environment
Provide companionship and emotional reassurance
Accurately record care delivery using care notes or digital systems
Identify and report any changes in service users’ health or wellbeing
Adhere to safeguarding policies, health & safety, and CQC requirements
Requirements
Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement)
Must be a driver with access to a vehicle
Right to work in the UK
Previous domiciliary care experience preferred (training can be provided)
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Reliable, compassionate, and professional approach to care
