Summary

Job Title: Digital Learning Officer

Annual Leave: 26 electable days plus 8 statutory days

About the Role
We are seeking a Digital Learning Officer to become an integral part of our Teaching and Learning Team. In this dynamic role, you will drive innovative digital education across the college, enhancing the teaching and learning experiences for both staff and students. You'll provide essential training, support, and resources to improve digital capabilities, while actively contributing to our Digital Learning Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Act as a system administrator for various IT platforms (e.g., ProMonitor, MS Teams, and Turnitin) and provide training and support.
Work with curriculum staff to boost the adoption of learning technologies.
Research and evaluate new digital tools to enrich the educational experience.
Deliver training sessions for staff and students to enhance instructional practices.
Foster collaboration with external agencies to develop digital literacy.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential Criteria:

Level 2 in literacy and numeracy.
Relevant IT/Learning Technology qualifications or relevant experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Desirable Criteria:

Level 3 teaching qualification or higher.
Knowledge of Management Information Systems and experience in further/higher education.
